It started with one apple crumble. A family recipe scribbled on the back of an envelope, a small kitchen at home, and a stubborn belief that Aldershot deserved a dessert spot worth crossing town for. We tested ten variations of that crumble. Settled on the eleventh. Never looked back.

In February we took the lease at 38 Union Street, fired up the waffle irons, and opened the doors. What started as one crumble is now nearly a hundred things on the menu, but the apple is still the OG, served hot with custard, exactly the way it was made the first time.

Every dessert here is finished by hand. Kunafa is shredded fresh each morning. Custard is poured to order, never sat on a hot plate. The biscuit on top of every dessert (yes, every single one) gets stamped with our wordmark before it leaves the counter.

We're independent and we plan to stay that way. No franchise, no shortcuts, no day-old anything. Just a small team who care about getting one crumble right, then doing it again tomorrow.
